At an Arctic research station, four ecology students discovered that the real horror of global warming is not the melting of ice, but the things frozen in the ice. A prehistoric Gisaengchung was released from the corpse of a true mammoth ! Facing the terrible Gisaengchung, what these students have to face is to make sacrifices or to infect other humans.
Adem ( Aaron Richard Ashmore ), Federico (Kyle Schmid), Chen Ling (Steph Song) three college students came to Banks Island in northern Canada to prepare to assist ecologist David Krupan ( Val Kilmer (played by Val Kilmer) conducts an inspection in the local area. They found the polar bear corpse left by Dr. Krupan at the scientific research station. At this time, the Dr. and his team had been infected by the mysterious ancient Gisaengchung carried by the polar bear. As the glacier melts, this deadly Gisaengchung also wakes up from eternal sleep.
