The story takes place in Czechoslovakia in 1983. Marieis a new teacher at an elementary school here. Her exceptionally strict behavior and her iron-fisted rule over the students made her uneasy when she first arrived at the school. For a long time, it has caused a lot of trouble. Mary treats students very harshly, and even punishes them physically. She vents her emotions without any scruples, completely disregarding her status as a teacher, just because she has strong political power and social skills. Under the influence of Mary, a student suicide that caused a sensation on the campus made the principal decide that she could no longer sit idly by, and he joined the parent committee to try to contain Mary's rights. But obviously, the kind and somewhat weak headmaster was no match for Mary at all.
