Joe White put the true story on the screen, and let two actors who are good at performing literary comedy teach everyone a lesson: if you don't abandon life, life will not abandon you  
"The Soloist" obviously belongs to the "Olympic bidding film" of the "Commitment" section. Although the film quality cannot be judged by the old story of the story, the problem with "The Soloist" is that it wants to deal with too many problems, such as poverty, Unemployment, the pain of mental illness, the friendship between the two men, and the power of music, but everything else is nothing. Fortunately, the superb acting skills of Robert John Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx made up for some of the shortcomings
