The River movie plot

The story revolves around the growth and sadness of three young girls, and Jean Renoir narrates the legendary story of the ancient Bengal river basin with meticulous brushwork. The film directly inspired a generation of Indian master Satyajit Rey to devote himself to film creation.
"River" is Renoir's first color film, and the fairy tale color of the whole film is really fascinating. The picture is very delicate, the fluttering of the skirt when the girl walks and the fine wrinkles on the face of the old man are all vivid. Even without the lines, the whole movie is just as beautiful. I really like the part where the bride Radha dances for the bridegroom Krisina. It’s so beautiful. In the special recording of the movie, Renoir said: To understand India, you must first understand Indian dance.
