"Le Ballon Rouge" is perhaps already a more philosophical, and therefore less childish, work, with a poetic quality for both adults and children. It doesn't resort to montage, and Le Ballon Rouge in Lamorice does make various movements in front of the camera, which is certainly a stunt, but it's not part of the stunt of the film itself. In this film, as in magic, the illusion comes from reality. Illusions are real, not created by the effects of montage. The film is a movie fairy tale, it is purely fictional, but importantly, the reason why this story is said to be completely filmed is precisely because it basically does not follow any film techniques.
