The Player evaluation action

"The Player" is a Hollywood moral story. It is superficial, but it is also more appropriate. It is not an apocalyptic "Day of the Locust", but a satirical parody of Hollywood. "The Player" uses a large group of Hollywood celebrities to play mass roles, but the main actors do not have many celebrities. It uses an easy-to-understand murder story as the heart and soul of the film, but the crime itself is not the key point of the film.
"The Player" is not a horror film, urban drama or murder detective film, but an unpleasant satire about Hollywood that is full of Hollywood jokes, making informed audiences laugh and talk about it.
The story of "The Player" is so simple, Altman still uses his huge narrative methods to shoot, and the many characters behind the story constitute the weight of the film. The first long shot of "The Player", in the cross scheduling of characters and shots, gave us a panoramic view of Hollywood studios and characters, and became a classic shot.

Griffin Mill: Great movie, huh? So refreshing to see something like this after all these... cop movies and, you know, things we do. Maybe we'll do a remake of this!
