"The Perfect Game" is based on a true story that happened in 1957. A small baseball team from the corner of the slums of Monterrey, Mexico, has the honor of participating in the professional baseball league children's game held in the United States. On the way to the U.S. competition site, the team's team car was even stopped by the Americans at the border. Under the guidance of the coach, the children had to walk nearly 20 kilometers with their thin legs in a high temperature of more than 40 degrees. After the start of the game, these poor children from poor working families used one victory after another to surprise the arrogant Americans and even the world, and finally won the first championship for themselves with a near-perfect performance.
This true story was discovered by accident by W. William Winoa. However, after getting to know it, William learned that after the story has passed for many years, no filmmaker has been able to successfully buy the story from the hands and hearts of the baseball players who are now grown up. Because the team members decided that unless unanimously approved, they would not easily sell the film adaptation rights, so they rejected the previous about 50 filmmakers. And William, out of his incomparable enthusiasm for this legend, made a plan for the film rights at his own expense, and then went to Monterey to meet all the baseball players in person. With my love for this story, I sincerely communicated with the team members, and finally obtained the film adaptation rights
