The set of Giza Port on the Nile in the film was set up at the shipyard in Chatham, England. The entire set is 183 meters long and requires 300 extras alone.
Although a lot of special effects were used in the film, the scene of mice and locusts crawling all over Evelyn was actually shot.
During the rehearsal of the scene where everyone sang, someone changed the Egyptian lyrics to "Oh what an arse you are" (you stupid). Later, everyone sang like that, and the crew didn’t notice it, so this line of lyrics appeared grandiosely. In the movie.
Emhotep is actually the name of the architect who built the first pyramids in ancient Egypt. It is said that he is boundless and the son of a god.
The body painting on Patricia Villaquez takes 14 hours to complete.
The crew once invited an Egyptologist to ensure the pronunciation of Ancient Egyptian in the film.

The producer originally planned to use Universal Pictures' black and white logo in the title of the film "The Mummy" in 1932.
Evelyn was wearing white pajamas on the ship. When the attack was encountered, the soaked white pajamas became transparent. In post-production, the transparent pajamas were re-dyed white by digital technology.
The film is the first theater film to be shown on the Warner Bros. Television Network. It is the film debut of Omid Giarelli.
