The megalodon in the film is the world's largest known predator with the strongest bite force, and the megalodon is a well-deserved marine overlord. It is about 20 to 25 meters long, weighs 70 tons, and has a maximum bite length of 20 meters, which can easily bite ordinary sharks into two pieces. This giant animal has long been extinct. Director Joe Detduba and his team have conducted long-term research and made a huge shark head model for shooting on the New Zealand studio. The shark’s blood basin can almost be stuffed into it. Four or five people, the ferocity and destructive power of sharks in the movie are not imagined out of thin air. The visual effects team spent a lot of time researching, capturing and simulating shark movements, as well as the water environment in which the sharks are located, and how the water should move. Any small detail determines the effect of the production. In addition to studying real sharks, this prehistoric species is also scientifically and reasonably recreated, because the megalodon in archeology only has partial spine fossils for reference. The megalodon in the movie is larger than the megalodon speculated through fossils. Sharks are also huge, including the gills and skins of megalodons.
