A decent monster horror movie. The story, plot, and rhythm are all okay, the special effects are good, and the shark is fierce. The most interesting scene is at the end of the shark swimming into my South China Sea bathing beach to feed, triggering the spectacle of scrambled to cross and startled a beach of gulls and herons, which has a special sense of joy. As the director of "National Treasure", this film is too unambitious and pursuit: basically it is made into a modern deep-sea version according to "Jaws". There are piles of bugs in science, and it's really not that particular about it: if you go down in the 10,000-meter deep sea, go down and come up if you talk about it. Is the protagonist not a decompression superman? Big sharks live in the 10,000-meter-deep sea and never come up. What do they eat? The ancient megalodon lived by eating? Where are there so many large fish in the deep sea? The film's sense of technology and imagination is not good either. Is it still the old three of poison, GPS and explosives? In the co-production film, it is considered a general, it is basically OK, it is not very embarrassing, but the scenes of Chinese characters are still a bit awkward, especially the emotional scene between Jason Statham and Li Bingbing, it is still the way of Asian beauties falling in love with white tough guys. Finally, the best performance in this film is Ruby Rose and the Chinese girl.

Only when I got to Sanya Beach did I really have the feeling of some disaster films. The several crises in the front part were scattered and dull, and there was no progressive progression of tension. Except for the fighting power, there were not many depictions of the megalodon, and the audience could not devote more emotions. The love scene is embarrassing, but Li Bingbing is still very beautiful

Lori: Mac told me about you and Suyin.
Jonas Taylor: [Smirks] Nothing to tell.
Lori: Well, maybe there could be.
Jonas Taylor: You and Mac are unbelievable.
Lori: How about you just try something new. So the rest of your life isn't a vast wasteland of misery and solitude.
Meiying: [Smiling; returning with 2 sodas and a juice box] I think that's a good idea.
Lori: You do, huh?
Jonas Taylor: [Repeating what Meiying told him earlier] Eight-year olds hear everything.
Meiying: Jonas...
[Motions with finger to come closer]
Meiying: My mom likes you too.
[Meiying raises her eyebrows a few times, causing Lori to laugh]
Jonas Taylor: This is possibly the worst moment of my life.

Jack Morris: Well, how do you like that? That was a serious man versus nature moment. I'm glad things went our way.
Dr. Minway Zhang: It didn't go our way. Not for Toshi and not for science. We did what people always do - discover and then destroy.
