An international scientific research project led by China is being carried out in the depths of the Mariana Trench, but it is suddenly attacked by unknown organisms and researchers are trapped on the seabed. Former U.S. Marine Corps deep-sea diving expert Jonas Taylorwas ordered to rescue him, and once again encountered the prehistoric creature Megalodon that had left him with indelible memories in the deep sea several years ago.
