The film is adapted from Tolkien's global best-selling classic novel "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" and filmed in a trilogy. Director Peter Jackson is a fan of the Lord of the Rings. As early as 1996, Peter Jackson began planning the filming of "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy". It took 3 years to write the script. As a magic movie, the movie special effects of "Lord of the Rings Trilogy" are the most noticeable in the filming process. The film uses a variety of traditional methods and computer special effects to show the mysterious fantasy world in the original book to the audience, especially the various creatures that live in it. In order to create a real "Middle-earth World", Peter Jackson asked landscaping experts to plant various trees and flowers in front of the preset scene two years before the filming started, and even built auxiliary landscapes such as small bridges and flowing water. When the actors came to the location, they were all shocked by the magical situation in front of them. The film crew used a team of 120 members and divided them into six groups: fantasy creatures, special effects, makeup, armor and weapons, miniatures, and model special effects.
