At the beginning of the Middle-earth Second Era, Elves blacksmiths forged 9 Lordship Rings for mortals, 7 for Lord Dwarf and 3 for King Elves. Dark Lord Sauron made the one ring soon after. After the Battle of the Last Alliance, the one ring fell into the hands of Prince Isildur . Isildur was slain by the Orc soon after , and the one ring lay at the bottom of Anduin for over 2500 years. Over time, Sauron not only took the mortals' 9 Rings of Dominion , but also made the Ringwraith . Dego discovers the one ring, but is killed by his friend Gollum , who later becomes Gollum . Hundreds of years later, Bilbo Baggins took the one ring from Gollum.
A few years later, when Bilbo celebrated his birthday in the Shire, the wizard Gandalf asked him to give the one ring to Frodo Baggins. Bilbo agreed and left the Shire. After another 17 years, Gandalf discovers that the evil forces have discovered that the one ring is in Baggins' hands. Gandalf finds Frodo and informs him of the history of the Ring and the dangers of holding it. Frodo then left his home and took the Ring with 3 other Hobbits friends ( Peregrin Took , Meriadoc Brandybuck and Sam Jangi) on the road. After escaping from Ringwraith's men, the 4 Hobbits arrived at Bree and then went to Rivendell , accompanied by Aragorn II . Frodo was stabbed by Chief Ringwraith at Weathertop and fell ill on his way to Rivendell. Shortly after Aragorn II and Elves Legolas rendezvoused, Ringwraith caught up and the two faced off on the Brunan River, with Ringwraith being swept away by the river. Frodo is healed by Elrond in Rivendell and sees Gandalf again, who has just escaped from Saruman . Saruman intends to ally with Sauron, but also tries to swallow the one ring. Bilbo, Gandalf, and others argued at the meeting about what to do with the one ring, and Frodo volunteered to go to Mordo to destroy the ring. After that, Frodo hit the road from Rivendell with eight companions: Gandalf, Aragorn,(son of the Prime Minister of Gondor), Legolas , Gimli , and the 3 Hobbits who accompanied Frodo to Rivendell at first.
The Fellowship of the Ring planned to cross the Misty Mountains, but was blocked by Blizzard, forced to enter Moria and attacked by the Orc, Gandalf fell into the abyss and fought the Balrog. The other members continue past the Elves haven of Lothlórien , where Frodo decides to go alone due to an attempt to take the Ring from Frodo, but Sam insists that he accompany Frodo on the road. Next, he was killed by Orc in order to save Merriadac and Pirigrin. Orc intends to take Merriadac and Pirigrin to Isengard via Rohan. The two captured Hobbits escaped and hid in Fangorn forest , where they met Treebeard . Aragorn II, Gimli and Legolas tried to rescue Meriyadak and Pyregrin, and followed them into Fangorn forest, where they accidentally rendezvous with Gandalf, and together they headed to Edoras, the capital of Rohan, where Gandalf managed to convince the king Théoden , his people are under threat; Aragorn II, Gimli and Legolas rush to Helm's Deep . Frodo and Sam catch Gollum trying to delay his journey, but ultimately decide to spare his life on the condition that he lead the way to Mount Doom. Théoden's forces resisted the Orc sent by Saruman at Helm's Deep, until Gandalf arrived with Rohan's knights and defeated the Orc's army.
