The Little Mermaid evaluation action

After "The Little Mermaid" was released that year, the response was enthusiastic, and it finally earned US$211 million in the global box office in the 20th century, bringing Disney on the cliff back to the right path and leading the trend of animation singing and dancing afterwards. Until the 21st century, "The Little Mermaid" is still the pride of Disney, and the song "Part of Your World" in the film has been sung for a long time.
"The Little Mermaid" is adapted from Andersen's fairy tales, but the whole story actually only borrows the shell of Andersen's fairy tales, and the theme is completely different. Ariel, the protagonist of "The Little Mermaid" is no longer the image of a weak princess in previous Disney movies, but a modern woman who is independent and even has a rebellious spirit. The end of the movie is not like Andersen's fairy tales, but it is a tragedy at the end, but a happy ending. The rhythm of the movie is quite lively. The red-haired little mermaid Ariel and her "follower" serious but often stupid Minister of Red Shrimp are still familiar images to children.

    [turns to Flounder]

Ariel: What do you call 'em? Oh... feet!

    [pause]

Ariel: What's that word again? Street! Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun, wandering free, wish I could be part of that world!

  • Ariel: [singing] What would I give if I could live out of the water. What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand. Bet'cha on land they understand that they don't reprimand their daughters. Bright young woman, sick of swimmin', ready to stand! And ready to know what the people know, ask 'em my questions and get some answers! What's a fire and why does it... what's the word? Burn! When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above? Out of the sea, wish I could be part of that world!
