Geographical error: The location specified in the movie is the small town of Analin, but the main intersection signs on the highway are obviously highways 25 and 79 in Texas, which is the same as the author’s hometown and the actual shooting scene. The road signs in Torucheng are different.
Coherence: Just before Jesse and Lester go to the party, she and Duny are dressing up in the car. As she stretched her legs from the car seat, she could be seen wearing a pair of colorful flat shoes with bows. When she took off her shoes at the party, it was the shoes she was wearing without a bow.
At the end of the movie, when it is following a car, the shadow of the camera can be seen at the bottom of the screen.
Facts are wrong: At the end of the movie, when Duny returned to Analin, he came back from the army when the United States was participating in the Korean War, around 1952. His hair is too long, and it is impossible to meet the soldier's hair length limit required by military discipline. Even in today's army, his hair is still too long. In addition, he has a sideburn, which is not allowed in the army.
Anachronism: The time set in the movie is in the early 1950s, at 50 minutes and 19 seconds. When Sony passes through the town at night, it is obvious to see a car from the mid-1960s or later.
When Sony drove to Luce's house for the first time, it was possible to see the shadow of a complete camera and staff.
An anachronism: When shooting inside the restaurant, a jukebox that can be seen several times is a Wurlitzer 2000 model. The earliest production time of this type is 1956
