The Last Metro movie plot

During World War II, the German army occupied Paris. Theatre leader and director Lucas Steinerwas a Jew. In order to avoid racial persecution by the Nazis, he lied to escape to South America, and actually passed his wife, the famous actress Marionin the basement of the theatre.to lead the theater and rehearse the repertoire he wrote. He listened to the rehearsal on the stage by disguising the ventilation system, and at the same time felt the love between Marion and the actor Granger.
