"Looking for a Child and Encountering Fairy" is a tear-jerking drama from the beginning to the end. Anyone who has watched this film will have their tear ducts out of control by its extremely sensational charm. Although there are only two roles in the film, one big one and one small one, the emotional interaction between the two masters is mobilized by Chaplin so precise and full of dramatic sparks. From the overlapping montages of Charlotte after being "adopted", to the gentle display of the plot of Charlotte’s “backfeeding”, from a photo of a young abandoned baby woman falling into the fireplace, to the tears of Charlotte being taken away Fei, Chaplin's entry point for the film's humanistic care and his ability to control the mood of the film can be vividly expressed in just 68 minutes.
