The United States of America is a country that advertises freedom and democracy. Young people who seem to waste their youth have a patriotic feeling in their hearts that is not inferior to their peers in any other country. Both men and women, they will always sign up to join the army and do their part for the motherland. This group of girls who have served in the army has both infinite pride in their hearts and a miserable past that cannot bear to look back. According to statistics, 20% of women encountered sexual assault during the military. They are suffering unimaginable pains in their minds and bodies. Even after the past years, the painful memories of the past still torment their spirits and souls. Even some men have become the target of being trampled and trampled. The movie describes the flaws of the military and the judicial system very well. Unfortunately, the trauma of the victims seems to have been deliberately forgotten. This has become the shadow of a free country.
The film won the 2012 San Diego Film Critics Association's Best Documentary Award and the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary Award.
