When Daniel Wroughton Craig was shooting for the film in Baltimore, he learned that he got the role of James Bond, and he had to suspend filming work and fly to London to participate in the press conference of.
When the film was shot at the Chilean Embassy in Washington, DC, the script asked Nicole Mary Kidman and Daniel Wroughton Craig to park a white SUV at the entrance and then hand the car to the doorman. However, Kidman didn't park the car. When she got out of the car, the car began to slide down the slope. Craig leaped forward from the back seat and stepped on the emergency brake to avoid a catastrophe, all of which was caused by heavy rain.

Brothers Andy and Larry Wachowski rewritten the remakes, while James McTiger was responsible for directing the new scenes.
The film is the first English work by German director Oliver Hirschbiegel.
Nicole Mary Kidman had a small accident during filming. Kidman was taken to the hospital due to the collision of the trailer used for filming, but on the second day, she returned to the set to continue working .
