The protagonist Nessa Stein's father, a Zionism -supporting weapons manufacturer, was assassinated when Nessa and her brother were young. Nessa grew up and inherited her father's company and "carried it forward" - her main business was no longer producing and selling weapons, but setting up high-tech data networks in Israel and the West Bank. She was elected to the Knesset because of her years of insistence on bringing about reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians, creating an international political maelstrom. Alleged locations for the show include the UK, the Middle East and Israel, all of which will be filmed on location.
