No one can maintain neutrality in "The Hate You Give", but fortunately the movie does this from the perspective of an eyewitness. This work on racial conflict is a mix of perspectives, voices and interests. Power and violence above human nature divide you and me into two camps, strong and weak, rather than simple black and white. Any struggle for justice and morality cannot be achieved due to the disparity of power. The heroine tries to restrain and stay away from hatred, but the most intuitive complexion is the stance she cannot circumvent. Fortunately, the film did not fall into the rut of "BlacKkKlansman" political first, but wisely settled all conflicts on the growth of the girl. This also points out a feasible way for the issues discussed here, because denying itself is the premise to break this vicious circle.

T(he)H(ate)UG(ive)life. The best title of 2018, whether in English or translated, is direct and powerful. The script is mature, the beginnings and turns are complete, and the sensationalism of the accusation is unequivocal. It is a film that can easily incite the emotions of the audience. To be honest, I am quite satisfied with the first 110 minutes, because the play decided that it could not restore the events in the documentary style of "Detroit", but instead used constant dramatic conflicts to advance the plot, but it had a lot of extremes before. On the basis of the provocative space, the final climax chose an extremely opportunistic way to resolve it. Although it is a very reasonable turning point in the play, it also completed the excellent character shaping of the protagonist, but the sublimation of the theme has changed. It became like a scratch, more like escaping the core contradiction of racial discrimination, and the main theme of truth, goodness and beauty at the end made me a little confused. Another: The role of the boyfriend is not proportional to the role, the writing is too thin, it is really stupid and sweet, if I want to write it as the last straw that crushes the heroine, but obviously the creators are still too kind, or Say I'm too dark in my heart?
