The Green Knight was the incarnation of native Druidism in England, the Christian faith was replaced by a pagan cosmology, and with the primordial filling (the recurring circular composition in the first half) broken, Gawain was thrown into one. In an anti-pilgrim journey, unlike the medieval version, he descends in temptation. Here Sir Gawain becomes the reverse of the knight, Epicurean, Boccaccio, even punk, heading for self-destruction, and in that fate he becomes a knight, or rather a narrative. David Lowe has a low-profile version of the time-image, at some point, through the mise-en-scène to infiltrate the future into Dasein, especially after Gawain is robbed, dies, reborn in a circular motion of the camera, Such a schedule is reminiscent of Kenji Mizoguchi and the "ghost stories" of Kamiuka Lowe, whose theme is the condensation of time. From the first shot of Green, Lowe wanted to present a serious epic tribute to the pantheon of film history, but couldn't escape the visual spectacle of the A24 - we can believe that some game-like shots were not his intention .

A green dream, there is always someone smiling at you when you wake up

The Lady: [to Gawain] When you go, your footprints will fill with grass. Moss shall cover your tombstone, and as the sun rises, green shall spread over all, in all its shades and hues. This verdigris will overtake your swords and your coins and your battlements and, try as you might, all you hold dear will succumb to it. Your skin, your bones. Your virtue.

The Lord: This house is full of strange things. But then again, I see things everywhere that bear no logic.
