Director Olatonde Orson Sammy chose to intersect "documentary" and "feature film". The reason for choosing this approach is to force the audience to believe that what they see is true. He said: "After all, this story is adapted from a professor's investigation report. Regardless of whether the professor has forged these words, data, pictures and videos, they must be treated as real materials. In addition, we still have some video tapes. I am even more convinced of the authenticity of this "story". So I used the combination of the previous video and the camera image set on the set. In fact, the old-looking video materials are not all the original files. Yes. We filmed part of it ourselves. Many of the so-called parties in it are actors. What looks like a video shot 40 years ago was specially produced by us. We did this in the hope of adding to the film A stronger sense of reality makes all audiences believe it. For a small investment horror film, I can't use CG animation to be an alien, nor can I use too much special effects and makeup. All I can do is Try to render the story into a fact as much as possible, and let the atmosphere of horror flow out by itself. I don’t think the kind of horror films that are made rigidly are not scary."
