Although the film is a remake of the Hong Kong version of "Infernal Affairs", "Infernal Affairs" is a completely Americanized film. For Martin Scorsese, a gang-loving director, the remake of "Infernal Affairs" is only a matter of time. The background has been changed to Boston, and the protagonist has been replaced by an Irish gang, which is equally attractive.
The fate of the characters is at the core of this story. Based on the information of all parties, the main characters of "Infernal Affairs" and "Infernal Affairs" have not changed much, and even some important plots are consistent. The biggest difference is that the US version of "Han Chen" (in the part of Frank) and Mark Wahlberg's policeman Digonum, the former has become extremely dramatic, and the latter is the secret weapon of the US version of the director.
"Infernal Walker" is known as a gangster movie that has reached the highest level, and I think it is Martin Scorsese's best work after "Good Guy" in 1990.
