Doctor Who, the longest sci-fi series listed in the Guinness Book of Records, will celebrate its 50th anniversary. To celebrate the half-hundredth birthday of this long-lived TV series, British Broadcasting Corporation BBC Television has produced a special "Doctor Who" special, which will not only be broadcast simultaneously on British TV and cinemas, but will also meet audiences in 3D for the first time.
