In order to show the strong contrast between the heroines' yearning for a better life and bravely facing the cruel war, Rostotsky arranged a scene of female soldiers bathing. At first, the actresses had concerns about appearing naked, and the director wanted to be their heroine. work, articulate the meaning of the scene, and finally persuade the actors  . The scene was shot on 1000 meters of film in total, and only 30 seconds were left for editing, and it was blurred. However, when the film was sent to the Soviet State Film Bureau for censorship, those 30 seconds were still cut by the censors   . For this 30-second shot, Rostotsky repeatedly complained, and even sent the entire film to Brezhnev, the then supreme leader of the Soviet Union, for review. In the end, thanks to Brezhnev's intervention, the 30-second footage was kept in the release version   .

Layer upon layer and plump up every image, "Держать! Даже когда сил не будет,все равно держать.За спиной у нас Россия.Родина,значит,проще говроя." Fragile but timeless beauty in war.

Easy to understand, superb shots. This part of counting the number of German troops and the cuckoo's cries shows the level. It is a pity that this kind of film is not available even in Russia, after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
