In 2005, a nun died bizarrely when a Roman priest performed an exorcism ceremony on her. The priest was charged with murdering the nun and was sentenced to jail. The reporter Nicole Rollins played by Cookson found Father Anton (Corneliu). Ulici (played by Ulici) launched an investigation into this case, and gradually discovered that the cause of death of the nun was not murder, but was dragged into the abyss of hell by an extremely powerful evil force.
