"Les rivières pourpres" is a French film but its style is very similar to American movies, from rhythm and language to action and scene excitement. The French director Matthew Casovitz told a simple story, and the filming was suspenseful, with deep twists and turns. In particular, the ending of the story is tortuous and thrilling, unexpected, and there is no lack of the taste of the suspense master Hitchcock mode. The creation of an atmosphere of horror and suspense allows the audience to hold their breath as the plot develops. They really want to quickly find the real murderer according to their own guesses, but the ending is hidden in the process.
"Les rivières pourpres" is a wonderfully conceived thrilling detective film. It portrays the psychology of police detectives and criminals, and narrates the entire serial homicide case. It uses a two-line three-dimensional approach. The process is exciting and the plot turns sharply, creating a strong thriller atmosphere, allowing the audience to participate in the whole process of reasoning and solving the case.
