In Stefan Ruzowitzky's film "Counterfeit Currency Makers", money pushes the war to go on. It tells a real historical event during World War II, the largest counterfeit currency creation operation established by the Nazis, by forcing prisoners in concentration camps. Complete, in order to achieve the weakening of the economic strength of the enemy country. On the same background and subject matter, although it cannot resonate emotionally with the audience as other German films, "The Counterfeiters" raises doubts in a deeper sense, about choice, survival, and sacrifice, and it can be said to be better than other German films. Any previous film must analyze this issue more thoroughly.
The script of the movie is adapted from a book "Devil's Factory" written by Adolf Borg, in which he describes in detail his personal experiences.
