This film is adapted from Takikui's comic "Baron Cat Baron" and is another animation masterpiece released by Ghibli. The film depicts the magical experience of an ordinary female high school student after falling into the fantasy world. This film is not as rich and magnificent as Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces such as " Spirited Away " and " Princess Mononoke ". The story is relatively simple. However, the magnificent world of the cat country and the growth of the heroine's heart constitute a fantasy, interesting and easy. Kindly adventurous drama. The theme of this film is to tell people to take control of themselves and not to lose the courage to face life easily because of the temptation of the outside world. This brightly pictured, up-and-coming work is a masterpiece aimed at a juvenile audience. This film is Japan's top-grossing domestic film in 2002, with a box office revenue of 6.46 billion yen.
