The Call of the Wild evaluation action

This film by Chris Sanders shows the problem of relying too much on CGI, especially in movies that are mainly set in nature. The goal of the film was to be as real as possible, but now it seems to be problematic.
The protagonist of the film is a dog. In order to let everyone see human emotions and interactive reactions on the dog, the overly clear dog eyebrows will make the overall effect look like artificial and ridiculous, which will be seen by the sharp-eyed audience. Very frustrated, it's just a play.
As expected, John’s narration runs throughout the film, which is consistent with the original work. Harrison Ford speaks in his iconic, languid and tired tone, which is half-roar, half-wise and crude. The voice of "The Call of the Wild" relies too heavily on catering to the tastes of family audiences. The film mistakenly assumes that the audience, especially the children, need an explicit storyline and emotional expression.
The film is in the middle ground-there are some exciting adventures and emotional catharsis, as well as some shots about nature, but it is bound by technology, depriving the audience of the viewing experience of nature and pure wonders   .

The Call of the Wild quotes

  • John Thornton: This is a map of the Yukon. My son was always reading adventure stories, crazy about the news coming out of the Yukon. Wasn't the gold, he didn't care about that, it was the mountains. He spent all day looking at maps and pictures of the mountains, dreaming about was on the other side, places no one had been, wild places. We could go, you and me, see what's out there. What do you think?

  • John Thornton: [narrates] There's a place in these mountains where a new breed of timber wolf roams, wiser than men or wolf, because of the dog that runs at the head of a pack. Now... they live without fear, raise their young and flourish.
