The Birth of a Nation evaluation action

"The Birth of a Nation" seems too serious. Although the film is very artistic in many ways, it lacks a unified aesthetic. However, it was not fully demonstrated at the end. In the second part of the two-hour movie, Pai Parker changed from a pacifist who encountered challenges on the moral bottom line to a leader who triggered a full-scale racial war. The change took only 11 minutes to manifest. If more time can be used in the film to portray this process of awakening, then this film will resonate more. "The Birth of a Nation" is not very suitable for quiet watching movies, but it is a very important movie. Its theme will cause Americans with thoughts and feelings to have a common sense of national shame.
In terms of wisdom, insight, historical investigation, and religious nuances, the film does a great job without wasting any content-all elements are used properly.
"The Birth of a Nation" is a shocking directorial debut. It has a unique and profound understanding of history and gives the audience the courage to face history squarely.
Although there are a lot of symbolic plots and a slightly exaggerated soundtrack in this movie, it is still a movie full of fighting spirit and passion. It explores why racial inequality in American society continues for so many years. One of the best movie works of 2016.
The film is sensible and sober, with almost no wasted shots. As a director’s debut, its maturity is shocking.
