The filming location is located in Chuncheon, South Korea, with a layout area of 55,000 square meters. It reproduces the blood and tears of hundreds of North Koreans who were forcibly conscripted by the Japanese army to Hashima, Nagasaki, Japan for coal mining. More than 70% of the film's scenes were shot in this location
