I thought it was a reasoning and suspense film interspersed with ghosts, but in the end it was discovered that it was actually a story about the awakening of childhood shadow memories. The heroine indulges in the pain of her fiancé's death, but this line has little to do with the main story. On the contrary, the first half of the really important shadow of childhood is not enough foreshadowing and the truth of the ending is too sudden. In addition, whether the heroine is dead or not, the clues given by the director are contradictory.

British horror movies, nothing new, still old routines like "children + castle school + scientists encounter real ghosts + childhood scars memories" and so on, and it's not scary, but the wonderful performance of starring Rebecca Hall is still worth watching .
