Terminator Salvation New story in the new world

In the first three episodes of "Terminator", the main storytelling is that humans are constantly fighting against the mechanical killer from the future. In "Terminator 2018", it finally begins to describe the confrontation between humans and robots in the apocalyptic world. In the film, the classic robot T-800 that appeared in the past three episodes has become a thing of the past. Instead, it is replaced by more new robots of different shapes, and these new robots are closely related to the development of the whole story. The machine killers appearing in the film will appear in front of humans in a more ruthless manner. They are pure high-efficiency killing machines.
In the first half of the film, in order to show the sturdy side of John Connor and Marcus Wright, a hand-held camera that is often used in war movies was used in several action scenes.

The director is handy in filming big scenes, but he is stretched to handle the plot. When John shouted, for the future of mankind, we can't blow up the base and can't harm my father, does he really believe that he is the future of mankind? The revolutionary army’s change in attitude towards Marcus was originally an important contradiction that could be written, but the director has mentioned it in one stroke. It seems that he has deliberately avoided it because of his lack of skill. In the end, why must it be Marcus’s heart? Isn't everyone else's okay? It's also very unreasonable here. It's just wishful thinking of the director. He wants to emulate Terminator 2, but he is just trying to follow suit. The two male protagonists are robbing each other in the scene, without any contrast effect. But when it comes to scenes, the film has nothing to say, like a real war.

Terminator Salvation quotes

  • Marcus Wright: If you're going to point a gun, you'd better be ready to pull the trigger.

Kyle Reese: [later, repeating Marcus] If you're going to point a gun, you'd better be ready to pull the trigger.

  • Kyle Reese: John Connor... We gotta find this guy.
