A digital video camera , ten-segment conversation in the taxi, tells the story of the plight that women have faced for thousands of years. Kiarostami's more extensive imitation documentary work was hailed as "the new model of movie production" when it premiered in Cannes. The master placed the camera on the front of the car and recorded the life of a newly divorced female taxi driver. The car was spinning around the streets of Tehran with the destination of the passengers. It was an introspection of the passengers' hearts and a deep anatomy of Iranian culture. When the female driver taught her son to agree with her belief in fighting for equality between men and women, she encountered another prostitute who instead persuaded her to respect the freedom of others. There is no absolute good or bad person, only the most simple image, the most true heart.
The film describes 10 episodes of six women’s emotional lives and the challenges they face at a special moment in their lives. "The film takes place in a closed space." According to the producer, "(camera’s Small and lightweight will make it possible for the audience to forget the existence of the camera and just be a witness."
