Continuity: When Travis's passenger is a cuckold husband, the fare charged by the taxi is wrong.
Coherence: When Iris and Travis were eating, the number of toast slices changed incorrectly.
Coherence: During the first meeting with Betty for coffee, there was a shot of Travis above his head showing him starting to wave his arms above the tabletop. But the next shots we saw were some of Travis's previous shots, his hands and arms were clearly placed beside him.
Consistency: The glass of Travis containing paracetamol pills suddenly appeared in front of him. What we saw earlier was that there was only one coffee cup.
The mistakes caused by the role may be intentional by the filmmakers. In the memorial diary that Travis gave to his parents, he mentioned that the festival included in July included Father’s Day. In fact, Father's Day is in June.
Continuity: In an earlier version, Iris' work time recorder discovered that Travis was carrying a weapon. After disarming the weapon, the weapon returned to him when he left. This paragraph was cut off in a later version, but when the recorder was looking at his watch, he could still see the gun in his hand.
Coherence: When Travis put the 380 Walter and other guns in the box, they were placed neatly at the same angle, but in the following shots, Walter changed to another angle.
Confounding: When Travis and Matthew were talking about a deal for Iris to serve him, an off-camera voice could be heard mixed into Matthew's lines: "But no rough stuff, but no violence."
Continuity: When Travis was preparing to assassinate the presidential candidate in his room, he sharpened his knife and then cut the sleeve on the right side of the white shirt. But then Travis folded the letter to Iris, and the camera showed that the two sleeves were intact.
