The film is a feature film depicting ordinary people, no matter in terms of plot and subject matter, it appears calm and unpretentious, but it has been shown tastefully and fascinatingly by the director's clever technique   . The life scenery displayed by Hirokazu Koreeda is the mission given to everyone by the "family concept"   .
The film reflects the context of each family member's life in less than a day. Three independent families were disassembled into three different outlooks on life under the calm lens of Hirokazu Koreeda. In the minutiae, the family ethics and moral concepts peculiar to the Orientals are inadvertently explained. The film has no characters in the bottom, no reason to be heartbroken. It just uses a quiet and delicate lens to narrate lightly, permeating a sense of sadness that is still going to talk .

4.5 it. It was Hirokazu Koreeda, the obsessive-compulsive madman, who filled every frame of this movie with information, and the details of the characters were as dense as pins. Except for the two grave sweeping scenes, there was basically no room for people to breathe. The whole film is too tight and sculpted - it is obviously a leisurely title. But the ending was beautiful, so I pulled back a city. I saw a little bit of Hou Hsiao-hsien and Ozu in this book, such as Zhongyuanjing + the distant train.

Death is the water spilled from the scoop, the boat stranded by the sea, the yellow butterfly that threw itself into the room. The family lives in the silent shadow of death. The old lady of the tree Xilin is the most vivid, and there are two lines that are particularly sharp in a group of gentle restraint, such as "It's better to keep hatred".

Still Walking quotes

  • Atsushi Yokoyama: There's nothing to watch on TV these days. They laugh so loud but nothing's funny.

  • Yukari Yokoyama: Even when they die, people don't really go away. Your father's here, right inside you.
