The interior of the family in the film was shot in a studio setting, while the exterior is the real thing. At that time, in order to find a reference object for the interior scene, Sansong from the Art Department visited around and found a pediatric clinic that matched quite well. The director personally rushed to check it and was very satisfied, and immediately decided to use this building for filming. The interior of the Yokoyama House blends the old atmosphere of the Showa era and the modernity of the Heisei era. There are both old-fashioned objects and furniture, as well as new home appliances. In order to reflect the history of this family, the Art Department specially found tableware and other small daily necessities from the dilapidated old house, and some people brought boxes and old books from their hometown to decorate the artificial scenery with a sense of reality and life. At the special request of Director Shizhi, the staff also specially made a row of rusty clothes pegs nailed to the crossbar.
