Aliceis a successful woman with a successful career and a happy family. She is a professor of cognitive psychology at Harvard University and a well-known linguist. Her husband is also a professor at Harvard. All three children have grown up and each have their own pursuits. At the age of fifty, Alice Howland found that her memory was getting worse and worse. One day, she suddenly lost her way in the place she knew best. The doctor's diagnosis completely changed her life and her relationship with her family and the world. She is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Her memory cannot keep up with the forgotten footsteps. She gradually loses her mind and connection with the outside world. She gradually couldn't remember her daughter's name or her husband's face, and the appearance of the world in her eyes was constantly changing.
