The film’s old-fashioned title is a film that can deeply present the lives of prisoners. The sketches of British prisons are as meticulous as a documentary. The straightforward violence can make people feel uneasy. Despite the small format of the film, the clues seem trivial. The old-fashioned topic of father-son relationship was once again moved into a confined space. Director David Mackenzie demonstrated the ability to bring warmth from violence. .
The film is a ruthless one, despite its skillful handling of violence, it is unacceptable. The emotions of the characters in the film are surprisingly refined, thanks in large part to Jack O'Connell's performance
