When Sandy was invited to the " Stardust " hotel in northern State of New York for a retrospective of his work, Sandy was bewildered by a group of critics and fans, and doubted the value of his past work. At this moment of hesitation, Sandy couldn't help thinking of his mistress Doria and the female musician Daisy she had just met at the restaurant. Doria is an actress who is always anxious about her career, always throwing tantrums at Sandy for no reason, but she is also very obsessed and dependent on Sandy.
Sandy's French lover Isabelle also came to the "Stardust" restaurant with her children and announced that she had abandoned her husband. When Sandy proposed to her, she turned it down as Sandy was too self-absorbed.
Sandy and Daisy are driving in the wild when their car breaks down, and they stumble upon a strange picnic held by a group of flying saucer watchers. Aliens suddenly appear to talk to Sandy about his doubts and fears, when suddenly a Sandy-worshipping fan shoots him dead.
