Describes the 1912 Цезарь military crackdown on Strikes workers. The incident started when a worker was fired and committed suicide, with workers clashing with employers and police. "Strikes" is the first feature film of the famous former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics director Sergei Mikhailovich Eizenshtein , and is praised as "the first classic silent blockbuster in history". The film practiced Sergei Mikhailovich Eizenshtein's film theory about montage , creating the unique visual effects that made him famous.
