In the vast western region of the United States, the Mustang Spire and his race lead a peaceful life. However, when Spiret met humans for the first time, he was captured and trained as a war horse. Fortunately, the kind Indian boy Little Creek rescued Spiret from the training camp and brought him back to his tribe. In the tribe of Creek, Spire encountered a light rain with a dappled Trojan horse. This time, Spiret felt difficult to decide whether to go back home or stay, because he was deeply in love with Xiao Yu. Crick noticed the love between the two horses, and he decided to let them go back to Spire's hometown together. When Spiret reluctantly bid farewell to Creek, Creek's tribe was attacked by cavalry. Spire and Xiao Yu immediately went back to rescue Creek. In a panic, Xiao Yu blocked a shot for Creek and was seriously injured, and Spire was caught again   .

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron quotes

  • [Opening Narration]

Spirit: The story that I want to tell you cannot be found in a book. They say that the history of the west was written from the saddle of a horse, but it's never been told from the heart of one. Not till now. I was born here, in this place that would come to be called the Old West. But, to my kind, the land was ageless. It had no beginning and no end, no boundary between earth and sky. Like the wind and the buffalo grass, we belonged here, we would always belong here. They say the mustang is the spirit of the West. Whether that west was won or lost in the end, you'll have to decide for yourself, but the story I want to tell you is true. I was there and I remember. I remember the sun, the sky, and the wind calling my name in a time when wild horses ran free.

  • [Closing Narration before the Ending Song]

Spirit: I had been waiting so long to run free, but that good-bye was harder than I ever imagined. I'll never forget that boy...

Spirit: and how we won back our freedom together.

    Little Creek: [whooping] Whoo-oooo, oooo-oooo, oooo-oooo!
