Mike (Mike Birbiglia) has dreamed of becoming a comedian since he was a child. He was still in his infancy and faced numerous failures in his acting career, always comforting and encouraging himself to move forward bravely. The reality of survival forced him to earn extra money by working as a bartender in a bar with comedy shows. Abby (Lauren Ambrose), his girlfriend of eight years, works as a vocal teacher in a Brooklyn studio. Mike, who has not planned to get married, makes Abby very anxious, and Mike's sister Janet's engagement became the trigger for their relationship. Facing the unsatisfactory career, the pressure of Abby and his family forcing marriage, the reality makes it difficult for Mike to face, time and again, he encounters mysterious sleepwalking incidents, and even endangers his personal safety.
