Sinister 2 evaluation action

Although the story of the film is a continuation of the creepy "Sinister" directed by Scott Derrickson, it feels like a monotonous repetition rather than an organic expansion.
The film’s visual style has been elevated to the point where it is silly and ridiculous, and the death style is close to the absurdity of "Chain Saw".
It is hard to imagine that any audience would expect something like this kind of brainless, mediocre to shameless, repetitive film of the previous one.
None of the shots in the film are convincing and frightening.
Although director Ciaran Foy worked hard to keep up with the first film, "Sinister 2" is still a bit lacking in creativity.
Whether it is visual imagery or creating a horrible atmosphere, the film can't look back from the previous work. Director Ciaran Foy was too obsessed with the rules of horror films, so the sequel he shot was basically unsuccessful.)
