The buildings are messy , but they have a unique charm", Side Wall is a film about a man, a woman and a city, director Gastave Taretto said at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival , which was shortlisted for the panorama section. Spanish actress Bilar Lopez de Ayala stars as the female lead, whom Taretto picked for the film after watching her play a Frenchman in "In The City of Sylvia."
