Shaun of the Dead filming process

If "Shaun the Zombie" is a purely British film, it is better to say that it is a work that is only "loyal" to London. From the West Side of London to the South Side, and then jumping back to the North Side, it feels more like a 3-day trip to London with the filming crew-although the story only covers a weekend, three days from Friday to Sunday, However, it took nearly three months from the director to the actors before the filming was completed.
"Shaun the Zombie" unceremoniously "occupied" the Ealing Studio Studio for 4 weeks when filming started. When shooting this part of the scene in the studio, the most arduous task is the lighting engineer. Since the film only tells the story for three days, the lighting problems and the weather conditions involved must be consistent, one day or two days. But the need for the same and complex light and dark backgrounds for 4 weeks is indeed a big challenge.
After leaving the studio, the crew did not leave London. The main filming locations include Highgate Cemetery, Crouch End and New Barnet in the northern suburbs of London, and Milwaukee in South London. Millwall, together with the Ealing Studios in West London, have obvious features of London's topography. The on-site shooting of the film caused quite a stir in London, which is used to seeing "big scenes". Whenever the director shouts: "Action!", it becomes London's "entertainment time": many people will stop and watch this. The rare "zombie attack wonders", some people even watched and joined the already noisy scene, put on costumes and cameos to live dead zombies for a day. At the same time, the graphic designer Marcus Rowland took his creative team to a bar in Winchester nervously and busy. They wanted to change the interior of the bar into a film in the shortest possible time. A good place for Shaun and his friend Ed to spend their boring time.
