"Seven Pounds" is the second collaboration between Will Smith and director Gabriel Mucino. In 2006, their collaboration "When Happiness Knocks on the Door" won Smith the second Oscar nomination for best actor. In fact, after cooperating with "When Happiness Knocks", Smith planned to continue to work with Mugino. Both of them liked the script of "Seven Pounds" very much, but for some reasons, the film "Seven Pounds" did not start until a year later. The filming of "Pound".
"Seven Pounds" is Will Smith's third time to play a frustrated role after "When Happiness Knocks" and "Superman for All". For choosing such a movie, Smith has always been very sensitive to those characters whose hearts have been traumatized. Fascinated, he kept thinking:'When you lose the important things in your life, how can your life continue? 'There are many traumas left in childhood or adolescence. He was also hit when he was 15 years old. My first girlfriend betrayed me. This incident destroyed his thoughts and affected His life. His role in "Seven Pounds" is called Ben Thomas. He believes that death means the end of everything. He finally met another love, but it was too late. He hopes that the ending of the movie will arouse discussion among the audience. If Thomas changes his mind, the movie will be a romantic love story; if Thomas does not change his mind, then the movie will become a tragedy.
