In order to emphasize the inconsistency of the movie scenes, director David Fincher deliberately chose the humid, graffiti, and dark corners of New York City as the shooting scene. The shooting of "The Seven Deadly Sins" was not all smooth sailing. The design at the end of the film is that David Mills saw the head of his murdered girlfriend, and finally couldn’t help but angrily shot the murderer who had been headed before him. At the same time, it also allowed the murderer to realize his vision of fulfilling the biblical “seven deadly sins”. The film investor One of the chairman of Xinxian Films thinks that this ending is too dark and it is not allowed to use this ending. Afterwards, the film’s actor Brad Pitt told the investors that he would withdraw from filming if he wanted to change the ending. In the end, the investors had to give in, and director David Fincher was able to complete the filming according to his own ideas.
